How does our cultural background influence how we think about legacy? How does it show up in estate, financial, and philanthropic planning? How do our experiences and worldviews affect how legacy is defined for successive generations? Join us as we explore how our rituals and traditions connect to the notion of legacy. We will dive into deep conversations to examine how to help clients integrate the past into their present and future plans.
Meet our Speaker: Dien Yuen, LLM, CAP®, AEP®, CEO, Daylight Advisors
Dien helps advisors elevate their philanthropic advising practice by building their confidence, competence, and cultural dexterity. She founded Daylight, an innovative professional development platform that creates transformative learning experiences for advisors pursuing growth, service, and social impact. Dien also serves as lead faculty for philanthropy at Singapore’s Wealth Management Institute (WMI). Previously, she served as the Blunt-Nickel Professor in Philanthropy at The American College of Financial Services. Over the years, she held senior roles in wealth management firms and nonprofit organizations.
Dien was inducted into the 2023 National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP) Hall of Fame and recognized for her academic leadership with the Distinguished Faculty Award from WMI. Dien holds a Juris Doctorate, an LLM in International law, a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), and an Accredited Estate Planning (AEP®) designation.
